TIETJEN TECHNOLOGIES ACQUISITION ANNOUNCEMENT
Jacksonville, FL – Norlee Investments LLC is pleased to announce the acquisition of Tietjen Technologies, a leading network cabling and building automation services company throughout northeast Florida and South Georgia.
Tietjen Technologies is a Florida corporation formed in 1994 by founder Ian Tietjen. Headquartered in Jacksonville, Florida, Tietjen is considered the premier Florida services provider for the installation of fibre optic cabling, copper network cabling and certification. Tietjen has a highly skilled team and many well-established clients throughout Florida and Georgia.
Norlee Investments LLC also owns Pacific Power & Systems, Inc., in Fairfield, California; Adkins Electric, in Jacksonville, Florida; Millennium Electric, in Orlando, Florida; and Colwill Enterprises, in Tampa, Florida.
Tietjen Technologies will operate as a subsidiary of Norlee Investments LLC. This mutually beneficial relationship will increase the level of services that Tietjen Technologies, Colwill Enterprises, Adkins Electric, Millennium Electric, and Pacific Power & Sytems will provide their existing clients. In addition, the acquisition will provide synergies allowing further expansion of services by utilizing their newly combined expertise in Design-Build and Pre-Engineered Industrial-Commercial-Institutional Electrical and Mechanical projects, Multi-Family Residential, Building Modernization, Low Voltage Systems, Emergency Power Infrastructure and Renewable Energy.
Norlee Investments, with offices in Jacksonville, Florida, will continue to operate Tietjen Technologies from its existing offices at 51 West 7th Street, Atlantic Beach, Florida.
Ian Tietjen will remain with the firm as Division Vice-President.
The closing date of the transaction is October 20, 2023.
